Sanem Akkurt, who graduated early from Sabanc\u0131 University with a degree in Psychology, completed clinical observation and experience internships at various clinics and at Erenk\u00f6y Mental and Nervous Diseases Hospital (inpatient service) during her undergraduate studies.

\n\nShe completed her postgraduate studies at Istanbul Ayd\u0131n University in the Clinical Psychology program, submitting a project that thoroughly researched the effectiveness of Schema Therapy on Personality Disorders.

\n\nDuring her postgraduate education and while pursuing her specialization, she continued her long-term supervision training in both individual therapy, which was predominantly Schema Therapy-focused, as well as in Marriage, Couples, and Sexual Therapy processes.

\n\nAs a Specialist Clinical Psychologist, she focuses on areas such as depression, anxiety disorders, self-compassion, sexual dysfunctions, trauma\/post-traumatic stress disorder, mindfulness, relational problems, family conflicts, anger management, and eating-sleeping disorders. In Family and Couples Therapy, she works on issues related to communication problems stemming from the family of origin, trauma, infidelity, divorce adaptation processes, self-expression, and compatibility.

\n\nShe especially adopts an integrative and cognitive 'Schema Therapy' approach and provides counseling services to adults and couples from different age groups.<\/p>\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t
